Pool Lifestyle for Any Budget

We believe every family should have access to a swimming pool, and we offer three categories of above ground pools, which we believe will match the budget and interests of every family we work with. These include:

Cost of Above Ground Pools

A quality inground pool will cost anywhere from $25,000 to $45,000 and will permanently alter the geography of your backyard. Our above ground pools start at $3,000 and allow you the flexibility to remove the pool feature from your property down the road with minimal effort.

How to Prepare for A Brand New Above Ground Pool

Before you visit us, we recommend that you do some preparation. Measure your available space by placing a stake in the centre of your future pool space. Using a string, measure out from that stake and draw a circle with flour or biodegradable spray paint (or anything else you can think of). Consider local codes for fence clearance, as well as distance to overhanging trees or future plans for a deck or deck extension. A pool fitting inside that circle is the pool for you!

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you heat an above ground pool?

You can heat an above ground pool in several ways, depending on your budget and how often you plan to swim.

The most common options are:

  • Solar covers (which trap heat from the sun)
  • Solar heaters (eco-friendly and low-cost to run)
  • Gas heaters (fastest heating, but higher operating costs)
  • Electric heat pumps (energy efficient and steady heating).

The right choice depends on your pool size, how warm you want the water, and how often you use it.

How much is an above ground pool?

Above ground pools typically range from $3,000 to $6,000, depending on the model.

Our Industry Standard pools cost between $3,000 – $5,000, while Copperguard pools range from $4,000 – $6,000 and offer added durability and low maintenance.

This makes them a more affordable alternative to inground pools, which usually cost $25,000 – $45,000.

How long do above ground pools usually last?

Above ground pools are built to last many years with proper care. Our models include durable steel or steel-and-resin frames, and warranties extend up to 20 years.

Regular maintenance helps maximize their lifespan, making them a long-lasting and affordable alternative to inground pools.

Are above ground pools expensive to run?

No, above ground pools are generally affordable to run compared to inground pools.

They require less water, use smaller pumps and filters, and often need less maintenance overall, making them a cost-effective way to enjoy a backyard pool.

How often should I replace an above ground pool?

With proper care, above ground pools can last many years before needing replacement.

Most models come with warranties of up to 20 years, so you can generally expect to replace an above ground pool roughly every 10–20 years, depending on maintenance and usage.

How do you know when your above ground pool needs to be replaced?

You’ll know it’s time to replace your above ground pool if you notice major structural damage like:

  • Rusted walls
  • Weakened walls
  • Large leaks
  • Liner that can no longer be repaired

If repairs become frequent or the pool no longer feels safe or functional, replacement is usually the best option.
