Advantages of Premium Vinyl Pool Liners

Premium Vinyl pool liners offer many benefits over industry standard liners. If you aren’t familiar with premium vinyl, we’re here to help.

What is premium vinyl?

Seams Hold It All Together

While the liner itself is vital to the safety and longevity of your pool, seams are equally as important.

High frequency molecular welds, sometimes referred to as a “lap seam,” on liner seams has a proven track record for longevity. And this method produces a seam stronger than the vinyl itself.

How is it done?

  1. Two pieces of vinyl are overlapped and placed on the welding bars.
  2. A high frequency beam is passed through the two pieces.

This beam has the same molecular composition as the vinyl and puts the vinyl into suspension resulting in the two pieces merging into one thicker piece.

How can you tell if it is a high frequency molecular weld?

If it is, the pool company will sing its praise.

If it’s not, they won’t mention it.

The warranty or guarantee offered with the liner is also an indicator. A lifetime guarantee is usually only offered with the high frequency weld.

Premium Vinyl In Every Colour!

Now for the best part: colours, patterns, and designs – oh my!

Compared to just a few years ago, the selection of patterns available today is quite substantial.

When we started almost 50 years ago, the selection was similar to Henry Ford’s old saying in the 20s, “You can have the car any colour you want as long as it’s black.”

There was one pattern: Aqua. And that was it.

Colours For Everyone

Today, we have patterns and colours available to suit almost any taste.

There are patterns with a tile border which is by far the most popular.

But there are also liners without borders, liners that look like tiles that you would find in concrete pools, and even liners that sparkle when pool lights are turned on at night.

These days, there is a liner pattern to suit every taste, and we’ve got the largest selection available.
