Leisure Industries originally began in the mid-sixties as a pool installation company named Tara Pools, for Sears Canada. In the early seventies, the company opened its first factory outlet selling aboveground and inground pools in Toronto, Canada.

As the years passed, the company expanded into woodstoves, fireplace inserts, spas and finally pool tables and poker tables. In 1999, the manufacturing of fiber optic lighting was added to the list.

As we grew to be much more than a pool company, we felt the word Leisure should be included in our corporate identity.
